Overnight Barton Road Closure 11th-15th November Roadworks to follow

In Comberton, the whole of Barton Road between the crossroads and Horizon Park will be CLOSED between 8pm and 6am for resurfacing of the carriageway from 11th November to the 15th November.

One expects that there will road diversions via Branch Road/Green End and South Street, so expect the thundering HGV’s to disturb your sleep ! Maybe don’t leave your vehicle parked on the road overnight.

There will be two way traffic lights operating the following week between 19th and 24th November whilst patchwork on the newly surface carriageway takes place.

 

 

Future Bus Services Survey for Cambridgeshire

In November the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) will be launching a survey, both online and on-street,to understand people’s perceptions of bus services better, in order to create a vision for future bus travel.

The survey will seek to understand:

  • How frequently people use bus services and how satisfied they are with those services,
  • The factors are most important when considering travelling by bus,
  • Levels of support for improvements to bus service provision in your local area.

They are looking for responses from people who use the bus AND those that do not.

The online survey runs from Monday 4th November for six weeks until Sunday 15th December.
