Remembering (Dr.) Pam Fisher BEM

Monday 8th September – Thanksgiving Service for the life of Pam Fisher – St Mary’s Church (time tbc)

a simple extract from Clare Crang’s article in  Contact June 2023

Pam, Don and their two daughters came to Green Gables, Barton Road in 1968.

The Meridian School had just been built and their younger daughter started on the first day it opened. Pam was a Doctor and involved with the Women’s Institute as wellas the Trefoil Guild (part of the Girlguiding family).

That started a life of supporting Comberton residents, both physically and mentally.

She became a Girl Guide District Commissioner.

In 2021 Pam was awarded the British Empire Medal For voluntary service to the community in Cambridgeshire !!

Pam and Don were greatly respected in the village, admired and loved and are deeply missed.
