The Comberton Help Scheme is looking for someone to take over the quarterly inputting of their transport data.

This important behind-the-scenes role helps them continue supporting local residents with transport to mainly medical appointments, along with some other visits.

What the role involves
  • Inputting journey information from paper driver logs into their computer system once every quarter
  • Generating invoices for the CPCA ( Cambridge and Peterborough Combined Authority)
  • Producing printouts for their volunteer drivers showing reimbursement owed for completed journeys
  • Working with a simple computer app, which can be transferred and explained to the successful volunteer
Skills needed
  • Computer confidence
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • A little spare time once every three months

No specialist knowledge is needed, and support will be available during the handover.

Why it matters

The work may only happen quarterly ( it could be done monthly), but it plays a key role in helping their volunteer drivers continue providing transport for local residents who rely on the scheme.

If you would like to help, or would like more information, please get in touch with the Comberton Help Scheme.
